What happens to people when faced with the terrible fact that their lives aren't anywhere near where they want them to be?  I can't answer to anyone else, but for me it's been an overwhelming sense of defeat and the urge to just roll over and accept it, to show reality my soft underbelly and hope it doesn't rip my guts out like it was opening a pudding snackpack. 
It's a depressing way to live and I'm just about sick of it.
Will that make me wake up, to start working harder and attempting to change what I don't like about myself?  Or will I continue to stew in mediocrity simply for the fear of the unknown..?
